TRACK SHOES & TRACK PADS

Excavator Track Shoes Made to Your Drawing or Sample

ROCKVANTA reviews each enquiry against the equipment application, drawing or sample, critical interfaces and acceptance requirements. Confirm the part definition first; material, process and inspection planning follow from that controlled input.

Confirm the Supply Scope Before Comparing Quotations

This page covers steel track shoes and track pads for excavators, dozers and other crawler equipment when the required part is defined by a customer drawing, sample, specification or project requirement. For dozer track pads, include the equipment application, part arrangement and connection details with the model reference.

The quoted family covers steel track shoes and track pads. Route rubber tracks, bolt-on or clip-on rubber pads, roadliner pads, track chains, links, complete track groups, rollers, idlers, separate pins and bushings, sprockets and segments to their corresponding product families.

Use the equipment make and model to identify the application. The supplied drawing, sample, specification and agreed technical information define compatibility and the quotation basis.

Steel grade, heat treatment, surface and core hardness specified for the application
Acceptance
Critical dimensions, flatness, weight and surface protection agreed for the part

REQUIRED SHOE OR PAD IDENTIFICATION

Give the Review Team Enough Information to Identify the Part

Start with the information already available. Unknown items can be marked as open points for technical review.

These inputs establish what is being quoted. They do not replace the dimensional and interface review needed to confirm the manufacturing scope.

Equipment and use

equipment type, make/model or application reference, working position and intended duty.

Part definition

track shoe, steel track pad or a wider track-group request; include a photograph if the terminology is uncertain.

Drawing, sample or reference

drawing and revision, physical sample, reference specification or clear photographs with scale.

Profile and arrangement

the profile, grouser or ground-contact arrangement shown in the drawing or reference part, where applicable.

Project context

estimated quantity, sample or project-batch stage, and whether continuing supply will be discussed after qualification.

DRAWING AND INTERFACE REVIEW

Confirm Mounting Details From the Drawing or Sample

Use the photograph to identify the general part, then provide a drawing or sample with the overall size, thickness, hole pattern, hole diameter, countersink, relevant datums and mating-interface dimensions where applicable. State the drawing revision so quotation, manufacturing and inspection use the same information.

Missing connection details can lead suppliers to price different scopes. ROCKVANTA records the available reference, flags unresolved interfaces and reviews the required dimensions before production planning. The agreed drawing or sample then defines the dimensional records and sample checks required for the order.

For broader drawing, sample and process review, see Custom Manufacturing.

MATERIAL, PROCESS AND INSPECTION

Specify Material, Heat Treatment and Inspection Requirements

Material requirements

Use the approved drawing, project specification or agreed technical review to state the material grade, hardness, heat treatment, surface condition and performance targets. These requirements are confirmed for the specific shoe or pad.

Production process

Production may include cutting, blanking, drilling and machining. Heat treatment, induction hardening and surface finishing are reviewed where applicable to the specified part and project. Geometry, material, operating conditions and acceptance criteria determine the process plan for the quoted part.

Inspection and records

Dimensional inspection and hardness testing can be planned against the agreed requirements. Material documents, NDT, inspection reports and hold points are included where applicable and specified before the order. See Quality & Inspection for the wider control and documentation framework.

FIVE-BASE COORDINATION

Assign Track-Shoe Production to the Relevant Base

ROCKVANTA owns and operates five specialized manufacturing bases. The team reviews the drawing, material, required processes, inspection and project requirements, identifies the most suitable base, and coordinates any supporting work. Production scope, capacity and timing are confirmed for the specific RFQ.

PROJECT AND SUPPLY BOUNDARIES

Confirm Commercial and Inspection Inputs Before Release

Quantity, MOQ, lead time, packing, marking, documents and the requested planning deadline are confirmed per RFQ and project requirements. State the destination and any export-packing or identification instructions with the enquiry so that suppliers are comparing the same scope.

Third-party inspection can be supported for a standard or custom production order where required. The buyer may arrange an inspector, nominate an inspection body or ask ROCKVANTA to coordinate with a suitable body. Inspection scope, timing and cost must be confirmed before order or shipment; inspection, reinspection and report fees are buyer-paid.

PRODUCT-FAMILY FAQ

Questions to Resolve Before Quotation

What information is needed to quote track shoes or track pads?

Provide the equipment or application, part definition, drawing or sample, critical dimensions and interfaces, specified material or process requirements, quantity and acceptance needs. Destination and packing information should be included when available.

Can ROCKVANTA review an existing sample when no complete drawing is available?

Yes. Send the physical sample, photographs and available reference information. ROCKVANTA will list the dimensions, interfaces, material requirements and other features that still require agreement.

How are equipment references and critical mounting dimensions checked?

Use the equipment reference to identify the application. The drawing, sample and mating information define the controlled interfaces, including hole positions, connection dimensions, countersinks and datums.

How are material, hardness, heat-treatment and inspection requirements confirmed?

ROCKVANTA reviews them against the drawing, sample, project specification and operating information. Undefined values remain open points for technical review. The quotation records the applicable tests and required documents.

Can third-party inspection be arranged for a track-shoe order?

Yes, when required and agreed for the project. The buyer may arrange or nominate the inspection party, or ask ROCKVANTA to coordinate one. Scope, timing and costs must be confirmed before order or shipment, and inspection, reinspection and report fees are paid by the buyer.

How are MOQ, lead time, packing and documentation confirmed?

They are confirmed per RFQ and project requirements after the part definition, quantity, route, inspection scope and destination are reviewed. Include required packing, marking and document instructions before quotation where possible.
